First St Departure Checklist

Please remember this is a house not a hotel, so try to leave it the way you found it. Here are the basics and some helpful reminders.

Minimum Checkout Checklist

• Do your dishes, 

• Throw away your trash,

• Remove your belongings,

• and Remember to lock the doors behind you

Full checklist we use when leaving the house

• If you’ve moved any furniture or household items, please put them back in their original places

• Pack up or throw away food in the kitchen, including in the fridge

• Take out all trash and recycling from the kitchen and bathrooms (there are limited trash bags under the kitchen sink). You can put trash and recycling in the appropriate bins located on the side of the street

• If trash bins are not next to the street, please pull up to the side of the street for trash pick up

• Run and unload the dishwasher

• Remove anything you may have placed in the washer or dryer and clean out the dryer lint trap

• Log out of any accounts on the TV (Netflix, Amazon, HBO, etc)

• Make sure appliances, electronics, and heating/cooling equipment such as the range, toaster oven, coffee maker, TVs, ceiling fans, etc., are turned off

• Set climate system to home settings or 74 degrees in Summer

• Check that the charcoal grill is cool, the grates are clean, and it is covered

• Set the temperature of the hot tub to 100 degrees, skim any leaves that may have fallen in, top off the water with the hose if the water level low, make sure the brominator is open and in the water, and gently place the cover on it

• Check throughout the house (including under the beds, in drawers, and around all electrical outlets) for any personal items (Please note that if you do leave something behind, we cannot assume responsibility for it)

• Strip the beds, and remove all linens/pillows that you brought, if you did not use ours

• Remove any bath or beach towels and other bath linens from each bathroom that you brought, if you did not use ours

• Store porch furniture cushions in the coffee table and end table. 

• Lock all windows and sliding doors from the inside of the home

• Turn off all interior and exterior lights

• As you leave through the pink door, remember to lock the door by pressing the lock icon
